Combat spinning is becoming nauseating.

Simply put, combat spinning in this game has reached a nauseating level of dizziness. Now that ranked duels are in ,and everyone got used to parrying 360 faints, people have to resort to spinning 360 one way, then the other way, while doing tripple and quadruple faints. All just to land 1 hit.

This is simply ridiculous to a point that borderlines on the unhealthy. I dont understand how people can play this and not get nauseated. How is this considered a legitimate evolution of first person melee combat? How is Henrik allowing this to become the meta? Where will this end? Are we just going to spin endlessly while looking at the sky and trying to land shots as we go by?

someone needs to knock some sense into Henrik and this needs to stop.

Had my first taste of ranked duels today with a towering Thursar. While admittedly it was kind of fun (at first) watching him jump up, spin 360 degrees several times in mid-air, and then land a hit on me on his way down, I can see how this can be detrimental to PvP which should be a competitive, player skill-based activity.

But then again, Henrik also allowed Alvarin Sight which, in my opinion, is almost a form of cheat mode that defeats hiding in cover or being stealthy.

My guess is that he is allowing all of this for his own entertainment and giggles.

they have to find a way to reduce the time between hits. If someone takes too long to swing on, you should be able to push them. The fact they made it a 2-3 second charge each time is crazy. And even with parries it still takes awhile cuz people throw in ridiculous feints.

Nobody understands that FOUR DIRECTIONAL COMBAT is very restrictive. It's not some super deep skill based game. Now, I think 4 direction should be a facet of the total combat, but there is so much more, like as I have said 1000x, lateral movement. Retreating, pushing, too.

You should be able to pressure people and they should be able to turtle a little. So if a fight was like quick hit parry quick hit parry quick hit parry ---> switch --- quick hit parry quick hit parry, etc, it would be way better than charge, spin, swing, parry, spin feint... it just takes too long and it's too predictable. It also majorly favors people with amazing ping because there are people with pings that would have to actually guess the swing direction.

Just like when you are in a fight and you can survive by stopping and parrying, that's pretty wack, too. If you stop in a fight you should be able to prolong your life a little bit with skill, but you should be burnt down if you aren't able to move.

I agree, but what I find funny is that this is the only part of the game that is 10% fun.

This combat was their fix to spinning btw lmao

The rest is completely non functional
