Can't create character

Deleted a character to make another and now after I create one it gives me the "create" character button and the character name is used.

I have the same problem. Logged in after the swipe, and started creating a character, but every name no matter how absurd seems to be taken. Is this a bug cause weoeurioweowu can't be a name that is already taken.
