Bring back 125% parry riposte damage

This would hamper the current running and swinging combat meta. Accurately timing a counter riposte would hold more value and help in 1vX situations where you are being aggressively ganked. A riposte would increase damage 25% allowing posted trading counters, until a powerful blow is struck. Running and swinging figure 8's would still be a viable tactic.

This was the way riposte counters worked for many years in MO1 and although the community seemed to favor removing the riposte damage increase it might be worth taking another look during combat Alpha.

I feel such a change will only promote parry whoring even more, which imo is not wanted.
That’ll be fixed when mounted charge + lance kills in one shot and you can tame a drake for free that fire breathes an enemy group all for 200 and has tough hide mitigation so it only takes 1 dmg from arrows

I vote no on 125% riposite damage. Parry whoring is good enough sadly, doesnt need any buffs. If parrying was hard and spam swinging was the meta, than I'd be down for a rewarding mechanic like 125% damage.
