Anyone else think the new Bounty Hunter system should be Reputation based instead of Murder Counts? 5+ MCs and you become a target, you can literally get 30+ MCs in less then 3mins from a single good PvP fight. "Murderers" are those who have no concern for the Reputation so they don't farm Parcels or care how many hit the Murder Report button, they live out of Lawless Town, Houses and Stronghold instead. Essentially a Murderer is just what everyone calls a griefer, people killing in Grave Yards, killing new players or players in non-factor gear NOT those of us who are literally just having a PvP fight with another Guild. 100+ MCs and the guards still won't attack you if you keep your Rep up which is a massive time sink, means even the guards don't see PvP guys as Murderers.. The Murder Report button is literally just a Salt button which gives a player a means to have a direct impact on the person who hurt them or their feelings. The current BH system allows players to essentially RPK/Murder with out repercussions, mean-while targets are killed in town and looted. Due to a faulty MC system that is easily spammed and abused to grief others, we're getting punished by players abusing another system against us. The BH system being switched to Rep instead of MCs would mean targets are actual Murderers based out of unguarded areas so they can be looted, not this nonsense of players RPKing in town and looting each other while guards do nothing. The guards even attack Guilds at war with one another for fighting, that includes the guilds owning the Keep for that town. Reputation based targets would also then have the chance to loot the Bounty Hunters since these fights would be outside of guarded towns, Bounty Hunters are already unidentifiable giving them the first strike on any random player that becomes a target (RPK). This would promote whole guilds making efforts to Bounty Hunt since targets would be in those Lawless Towns, promoting PvP and not rewarding the random blue player griefing in town using the BH system. Players are already quitting this game and/or rerolling due to the BH system, 2 days and you can max any character which is faster then waiting off 2000 MCs at 400mins per MC. True murderers don't care about this BH system, if they want to become a non target then they would need to put the work in to grind out Reputation, essentially doing the time for their crime. Bounty Hunter rewards need to be much higher and/or lucrative as well, you can spend 5mins in a Risar camp and earn more then spending 1hr hunting Bounty targets due to travel time alone. Time vs Reward in this game is very unbalanced, 5hr being the average PvE time to earn 10,000 units of Steel transferring to maybe 5 kits which is lost in a single PvP fight in under 5mins. Implementing a scaling system per MCs that a target has for rewards would be an easy step up from the current BH reward.
