Can you get 1?

Why would you want a blank spellbook? Who cares about those seven basic ecumenical spells in the book? Makes sense to split all spells to different books, one for each magic school, to be able to sell a "school" book and would be nice to name a book.

Be nice if you could name spellbooks and bags, but sadly you can't. I don't think there is a limit to the number of spells in a book - if there is, it must be pretty high. You can also carry multiple spellbooks, and they will all be soulbound, and you have access to all the spells. That means you can have separate books for types of spell, or if you are planning on selling spellbooks. It also means that if you are using a scribe you don't totally trust, you can just give them the scroll plus a new 1g spellbook - limits your losses if they scam you.

Scribing is a skill, but in order to level it you have to scribe a LOT of spells scrolls into spellbooks. This can be very expensive because the higher end spell scrolls cost a lot of gold. You can end up spending thousand of gold to level scribing.
Charging people to scribe is also not very profitable because most people just get it done it for free from their guilds scribes.
