Bandaging Lock

The bandaging lockout needs to be removed or drastically reduced. The current skill is not viable while fighting on foot. The lockout is further burdened by the fact that you can not disengage a fight on foot.

People for whatever reasoned loved ideas like long bandage animations in combat alpha. People don't want you to be able to disengage a fight. They think you should just have to sit there and die.

these same people are the ones that have caused the balance to be in a ridiculous place. like a mage never being able to 1v1 anything not even surviving a wolf pack that anything else stomps out. Bandages are fine I always see them go off for a lot of HP when not misplayed though. the window is find rn if you do it right you're fine, if you do it while getting sticky backed then you die it's balanced. and with the current Hybrid meta comming back no reason for them to get 2 strong sources of healing that's just OP no reason to have a Mage at that point. might as well give Mages Casting while moving on everything, the fact you can bandage and move is already OP stop complaining when it's better than most other versions out there with less point costs and Gold costs and less movement restrictions. Where in other Posts OP def calls a lot of that stuff out... hypocritical

People need to stop saying this. 90% of people who attempted to play a hybrid in MO1 were trash, so they rerolled back to their fighter or MC. Secondly, even when hybrids were in their prime back in Dawn, mages were STILL very important. You ALWAYS wanted mages in your group because they could output much more healing, corrupt, purifies, TL's than a hybrid seeing as that was their main job. Hybrid groups also took a much higher amount of teamplay and coordination than some neckbeards saying "HEAL ME" to their mages sitting in the back of their 30 man group.

Its just so annoying reading people say stuff like this. Everyone is so afraid of some made up "god tier hybrid meta".

I'm not directing this at you personally, its just like everywhere I look when I see something about hybrids is how they are meta and shit. They are far from it, and even farther when metal armored warriors become meta (which wont be long after persistent). I'm not even going to mention mounteds...

The lock is supposed to punish you for fleeing. It does need a cancel for before you actually bandage. Like when you start to put you weapon away. For those miss presses.

Ok. Keep using bandages while I move on to using other skills. You guys will catch up to the meta eventually.

no worries nothing personal. It's not that it is META per say the "Popular Meta" but as in the actual Meta meaning most effective tactic available, lets say you misplay and give too much space and they pop a bandi, you can then clear up that mistake with a Corrupt as a Hybrid where as otherwise you run and try to see if they give you a gap closing opportunity. so you do 2 roles in one, yes you will be statistically weaker than a regular FF but you have 2 roles in one. without the "Neckbeard callout" "I need a corrupt on X" XD
