Yes you do have a choice: closest priest, or home priest.
Or if you have a buddy that can resurrect, they can res you anywhere.

You certainly can ghost to any town, but its not afk. If you are talking about a portal that lets you travel between towns, then its a no. No automatic afk travelling.

This system is not in the game yet, SV did a few questions about it in last PTR survey. You just need to keep the faith and wait until "someday" they release that.

I cancel my account on the 5th. It is sad, but one thing was the flast compass was very hard to see when it was agagainst bright light. If it is hard to see what direction you are going that is big.
