Archers need some kind of buff in the game here is why
Foot soldiers have their weapon skill aggressive stance strength also height of a character and parry and blocking that do so much damage towards a players.
Archers only have strength and dex depending on what you go for. We do not have any kind of blocking or parrying system that allows us to give more damage or reduce damage taken.
The only thing for not receiving more damage is making a vela build for speed but that’s going dex build.
You can also go riding, controlled riding, swift riding, mounted archery but horses even with armor they get killed to quick In the game horses need a fix and also armor on horses ( they should make it harder for players to shoot arrows off a horse if they don’t have max archery) so mounted archery should fall under maxing out archery as a reward skill that allows you to get the. Ability of mounted archery.
They need some kind of ability that makes archer’s dangerous and stacks for more damage. if your a full archer build they should give some kind of buff or special skills where damage stacks just like foot soldiers have parry where they do double damage when they parry someone. archer don’t have anything like that but they should make it where we can shoot 2 arrows or 3 at a time to do a good amount of damage or they can implement some kind of Penetration damage on heavy armor or armor in general, or some kind of dodging ability ( depending on there armor capabilities) But that kind of ability is given when you max out archery skills just like elementalism has earthquakes when you max it to 100 it would make archers more of threat as well. if it is something they add like penetration,shooting multiple arrows at a time or dodging it should cost skill points or be earned when you max out archery just like armor has heavy armor. archery is 400 skill points to max out but if they do implement it. it should be a a skill reward for maxing archery for archers so it doesn’t let gankers get those types of skill rewards to make them metas for foot/archer builds. if they do wanna do a hybrid build they should get basic archery where if you go full archer you get all the buffs and special skills like penetration, bleed overtime, shooting multiple arrows, apply poison on arrows, being able to craft better arrows (because of the expertise of being a maxed archer and understand archery and the fundamentals of range and damage that arrows can do.), dodging, or shooting an arrow at there foot to make foot soldiers stationary for archers to get away.
It makes it hard for people to make archers because they Don’t do much damage only when you make a thursur build which shouldn’t be the case.
