Anti Zerg Mechanics

If a blue player is attacked in the open world the initial attacker goes grey meaning that the squad of his buddies can blue block and support as needed with little risk to gaining a murder count and lose standing. Furthermore, if the blue player accidentally hits one of the enemy group member they become grey flagged and can be dog piled on. This needs to change. If players in a guild perform a criminal action, the players around them are guilty by association. I suggest that if a criminal action is performed by an individual in a guild, the entire group of guilded players around the criminal action need to be flagged grey as well. With this system the current murder count list also needs to updated. The current system only allows for players to report the last three people to hit you. Even if my suggestion doesn't go through about grey flagging a group, this needs to become unlimited. If you get hit by 20 players before you're murdered, why are only three of the 20 people held accountable? Zero sense.

I agree..... As a solo player, I've been attacked like this. A grey/blue character will attack me while their 2-3 friends swarm me, hoping i attack back and go grey myself.

It carries such a strange stench of meta-gaming BS. Some weird blue-blocking evolution.
I'll usually just go straight for every one of their horses and be ok with the exchange... I usually don't have much on me.

I'd much rather all of the bastards go grey. And i enjoy the eventual tactics of spys in guilds causing havoc.

Also, it absolutely makes sense to me that 20 people hitting you to kill you = 20 murderers.

While I agree with the gray flagging change I disagree with giving more murder counts.
E. g. in a 10 vs 10 fight you will gain in the worst case 10 MC, while in a 3 vs 3 you gain only 3. Per player the same amount of enemys died (ratio 1:1).
This change would make large fights (and later on Sieges) really cumbersome.

Part of the reason parties should be a part of the game. Any action done by a member reflects on the whole group. Would have to have some kind of benefit though like dots on a compass to know where they are since SV been training people to play without party so long.

well people will just unparty to do the same thing. But I really dont see a need for parties. Any system would need to work around artificial groups. The only reason I see that there should be a party is that you dont go criminal for hitting a party members, like in dungeons with other groups doing it with you.

The main issue here is that you get MCs and rep loss defending your self. If you could fight back against a player still tagged blue trying to help kill you with out the game punishing you then the issue is solved.

Main reason I play red is that I now dont have to worry about being griefed by blue players kill stealing or blue blocking. Its sucks that Im being punished for just being un greifable by blue players but I have a better time just not being near a town.

Fair enough.
