This game isn't playable without a horse. I can see many players losing their horse in a bad location and never logging on again. They should add a horse vendor that sells slow, low hp horses just so players can at least get around a bit. It won't stop anyone from buying horses from tamers, but it will help people get back on their feet after they die and need to restart. There was a horse vendor in the haven map so it must have crossed devs thoughts. It's similar to how you can buy weapons and armor from vendors, it helps players get back on their feet fast and doesn't hurt player vendors. Obviously, there are player horses for sale, but these are usually at least 10g, and not always available. I would bet that horses are going to be hard to come by on launch. Everyone will be taming them and trolls will be killing horse spawns just for the luls. Also not everyone will have 100 taming in an instant

I don't see anything wrong with this temporarily. The early times of MO1 saw things sold through NPC vendors that were later removed, so it wouldn't even be setting a precedent.
