Add an optional spawn method at priests

There should be an option when spawning at priests to spawn after a 10 second timer so that you can run away in ghost during the timer and spawn some distance away. This is to get away from spawn camping situations. If you've been to jungle camp you know what I'm talking about.

Also with the introduction of caravan camps there is potential for alot of spawn camping.

Spawn camping is a staple of MO haha. It's fun to run sometimes, but other times you just have to talk to people. Once you get enough grey bar, you can't run anyway.

I remember way back when I spawned into kran on accident, and I was high af and dude killed me with a bow. So I was like hmm... and I re adjusted and was able to jump down, sit down to duck behind some shit and he had to chase me around with a wep. He probably didn't think it was as funny as I did, but I was like haha gf.

The whole looney toons shite at the spawn is funny, but it's not good content. Dudes deserve it for being dickwads, tho. I go back and forth on how I feel. It is hilarious to kite people who are trying to kill you at spawn, yes, but in the end, unless they are awful, you are not getting away. IF they are camping, there is likely someone with a mount nearby.

I just dislike the smugness of spawn camping. Spawn camping is a sign of weakness. It means you are afraid people getting a foothold can overtake you, so there is no reason to get smug about it.

Spawn camping exists in most games and it can be entertaining but in mo2 it requires 0 skill/thought. You know exactly where they will spawn, without gear and with a little animation that delays their action.

they should make the guards, instead of stopping pvp, protect people who just spawned in for... like 180 sec or something so they can gear up, and maybe protect them for a similar amount of time when they first enter the area so they can drop shit off.

Seems a lot less messy than crim or not possibly dead possibly alive weak guards. They should, however, add in weak guards to towns and replace the ones on the road / gy with outlaw level guards.

I miss the days where there wasnt this stupid resurrection animation and a fast character could instantly run after resing. Spawn camping actually took some skill. I cant stand being rooted on the spot when ressing. I still dont understand why they implemented this crap.

did not know caravan camps were red priests. I assumed since there were 'outlaw strength guards' that it would make more sense to be able to spawn in but have no protections per se, if you are fighting.

After reading run away in ghost form I already knew this would be about JC.

The problem is that stupid ass delay where you can’t run for 5 seconds after spawning. Like everything else in mo2 it’s a trash no skill version of the previous game

Hearing peoples reactions with spawning at JC kinda makes me not want this to change =))))

Otherwise, yeah it's pretty sound. Won't solve JC spawning tho. They will post a spawn camper at every possible exit point 10 seconds away from the priest X))))))))))
