[8] EOS - Failed to establish a connection to Epic Online Services.

I get this error when starting the game and getting to the login screen. Fixed it temporarily by moving the game to an HDD instead of the SSD I had it on originally, but it now does it no matter which drive it is on.

I have made sure that the windows firewall allows both the game and EAC, verified the game files with Steam multiple times, tried the game on multiple HDDs and SSDs, ran the launcher and EAC installer normally and as Admin, and didn't click or press any keys after starting the game.

It's an intermittent issue from Epic's end, nothing SV can do about it. EAC is a middleware integrated into Epic Online Services (EOS) run by Epic.

Usually the issue will go away on its own after quitting the game for a few minutes. In some cases you may have to wait longer.

Update:
Finally got it working by completely closing my AV program. Nothing else (including just waiting) worked.
