    Is leveling too easy? Thoughts

I never said fair, I said skill based. A fair game is one where people gets manches with other people of same skill, tactics, strategies etc. Mortal Online is about making sure your opponents have it as unfair as possible, with your own skill. The idea is to not take fights too unfair. Avoiding...

    Is leveling too easy? Thoughts

I think you all got into the wrong game. Mortal Online is not a game were people can get overleveled and stump on those lower level. Every one gets to the same playing fiel fast, to make it skill based. And if grind is what you all want... wait till wars start to happen all over the server...

    when the persistant beta comes?

Persistent Beta is not out yet. What people are playing is a test for the persistent beta. There will be progresion and wealth wipes until persistent beta finally releases as Early Access on Steam. As for when will it come out...Devs have yet to give a release date. In my Opinion, it will...

Single Price (for early purchasers) Instead of Subscription

Mortal Online cannot support itself with a free to play model. Atleast not for now or in its first or second year. All sucessfull free to play games followed either one of these 3 paths 1- Had a huge and very sucessfull kickstarter campaign, obtaining millions of $$$ from backers. Then Offer...

Single Price (for early purchasers) Instead of Subscription

Subscription need to be permanent, they need a stream of income for as long as the game stays active. This game cannot sustain on cosmetic items, making cosmetics for MO2 is very expensive and time consuming because of the game mechanic that allow players to taget parts of the body that are...

Single Price (for early purchasers) Instead of Subscription

MO2 is an extremely expensive game to make. The graphics and textures are one of the best in the whole MMO market. The game mechanics are very complex for an MMO, making coding(programing) a huge challenge. They also have to nail down animation for some of the games mechanics to work.Good...

Forcing players to interact with others for crafting purposes is great, but one character per account locks us to one combat playstyle.

You are 100% right. Multiple accounts will happen. However that will be on the minority. Having to pay 15$ monthly for each additional account is a deterrent for most players. Also, they can make multi accounting bannable. It's not that hard to find out if a player has multiple accounts.

    Build diversity in PVP?

2H is a very nooby friendly weapon. You rarely get handle hits. Other meele weapons are harder to use and requires you to know the distance of each swing (direction) so you dont get handle hits. How ever, being harder to use doesnt mean they are bad... most weapons are pretty good. As for...

Forcing players to interact with others for crafting purposes is great, but one character per account locks us to one combat playstyle.

The game is not made for a single player to take on the whole world. You want to make an archer? then know you will need other players to help you out. That's the core idea of Mortal Online, for players to help each other. There is no jack of all trades in this game.

Forcing players to interact with others for crafting purposes is great, but one character per account locks us to one combat playstyle.

Problem is people these days want to enjoy games their way. Their way to enjoy a game doesn't mean its how every one wants to enjoy it. It should not be that way. People should enjoy the game the way the devs want them to. It's the dev's vision after all, and not the vision of the players...

Forcing players to interact with others for crafting purposes is great, but one character per account locks us to one combat playstyle.

I'm not talking about npc reputation. When a player goes around on a killing spree, other players will remember the name. A player that is constantly killing will get hunted. With multiple characters per account, a player with bad fame (bad fame with other players) could easily log into his...

Forcing players to interact with others for crafting purposes is great, but one character per account locks us to one combat playstyle.

Multiple characters per account, that's what the topic is about. You even mention it yourself lol. No matter how you put it, it is a bad idea. Even with one of them only having profesion skills, its still the same, people would be able to easily transfer the stuff they make with the...

    Make PvP consensual

Consensual pvp would kill this game. The core audience of the game are players that want a hardcore experience. That is the game selling point. If you want consensual pvp, this game is not for you.

Forcing players to interact with others for crafting purposes is great, but one character per account locks us to one combat playstyle.

One character per account is the way. Multiple characters just brings in too many problems. This is a game where choices matters. Multiple characters means choices have no meaning. Multiple characters means anyone can be anything. Penalties for becoming criminal or having bad reputation...

    Where's My Fishing?

I think fishing is already in their roadmap before the game realeases. They also want to add boats but that will be in the far future.

    Make PvP consensual

Consensual pvp destroys the core Idea of Mortal Online. This game selling point is that it is trully hardcore. You can get murdered anywhere, you can get your stuff stolen anywhere, you can lose everything etc.. There are plenty of games where pvp is consensual. If you want a less hardcore...

Was one character per account a mistake?

One character per account is perfect. It gives personalities to each individual player. It makes the games economy more healthy because players will be forced to trade. It makes specific professions valuable, and also makes decisions important. One thing I hate so much about MMO's today is that...
