    Why we don´t need Haven

Seriously disagree with the idea of limited time. Newbs should not feel rushed through their tutorial just because a few veterans are antsy that they might stay there forever and not be ganked. If there is a time limit it would need to communicated so a newb knows if they accidentally leave...

    Why we don´t need Haven

I can agree with that. When I went to haven I was like "Why do they have this huge area. And why are there razorbacks here?" Haven need only be large enough for a good tutorial in a believable setting and no larger, with no more resources. Based on that less spread out seems better so that the...

    Why we don´t need Haven

I really have to wonder how bad people are that they're concerned about the tiny population of people who choose to make their home in the tutorial area instead of coming out in the main game where all the best resources are found. Need someone your own strength to pick on? All the newbs leaving...

Adjust Alchemy/Cooking Ingredient Values to Make Value Changes More Noticeable

Current system is good for everything but HoT/DoT. I think HoT/DoT are in less a bad place than they seem though. Multiplied out over a long enough duration they seem to have a good affect on total healing. The issue is you have to go back and look at MO1 data to find their multipliers reliably...

    Why we don´t need Haven

There need be no cap in time spent in Haven, just a cap in the value of the things you can acquire there, and a limited amount of things to do. Players should be able spend as long as they want there learning the game. And if someone REALLY wants to have a character that just lives in Haven...

Adjust Alchemy/Cooking Ingredient Values to Make Value Changes More Noticeable

Yeah, it's really just an extra step. But I could make a simple tool to do it in MS Paint. Paste in the slider under the yardstick tool, expand it until it's the proper size then, put the ends over the marks that denote the ends. Read the numbers on the yardstick tool, and done. Given I have...

Adjust Alchemy/Cooking Ingredient Values to Make Value Changes More Noticeable

Given I have the numbers now, I retest those numbers on slider bars, create a system for converting sliders into numbers, then make it public. Not that hard. Sliders will be no challenge for me or anyone else if they make it back in. I look forward to it. The current data I have is more than...

Adjust Alchemy/Cooking Ingredient Values to Make Value Changes More Noticeable

Yeah like I said. You might know how to make a potion in MO1 but if you think the HoT and DoT numbers are "not meant to be easy" as opposed to objectively bad, you either haven't tested the current system, are a straight up jerk who wants to ruin the game for incoming players, or both. Sliders...

Adjust Alchemy/Cooking Ingredient Values to Make Value Changes More Noticeable

"Give people testing it now too little information because I tested it in MO1 and already know how it works." Got it, not an idiot, just an asshole. Like if were going to do it that way at least give us sliders back. Also. Recheck your formulas. Not everything is carrying over from MO1 on a...

Adjust Alchemy/Cooking Ingredient Values to Make Value Changes More Noticeable

Here are numbers if you aren't catching what I am laying down: Does that look ok to you??? "Oh well it's because you used 1 ironwood, use more to get better results!" Yeah??? 0.05? You like that number? I guess we'll be finding your potions in the severely discounted bin if you think...

Adjust Alchemy/Cooking Ingredient Values to Make Value Changes More Noticeable

Yeah like I said. For HoT and DoT the sliders work better than what we have right now. It's really sad to see people argue for a game to be more "hardcore" for the sake of being "hardcore". Even when it leads to bad game design. It's like you're not thinking before you blurt out responses you...

    Why we don´t need Haven

I think when Haven makes it in, it should be a fully voiced interactive tutorial like the hero's guild from Fable 1. You go to various stations on the island, talk to various instructors, and those instructors teach you how to do melee combat, archery, magic, taming, gathering, refining...

Please keep movement speed the same

It did. Just not for melee. The skillcap in Darkfall came from the fact you had access to melee, archery, and every spell in the game all on the same character and were combining that with fast-paced movement and a "bunny hopping", a ridiculous form of movement that was way faster than...

Please keep movement speed the same

A thin Alvarin that maxes dex and takes all their race speed bonuses should still be able to move much faster than you currently can now. But depending on how clade bonuses play out Thursar is looking to be the strongest foot fighter build with healthsteal, faster regeneration, and a high...

    Avians & Taming

I like the idea if we're going for the utility concept of them giving buffs or catching small game for us. Not a high priority but something good to have in eventually.

    Make resources more regional

There are some decent things closer to mage tower, but I have scoured that entire dead area around GK and you have some whitewood, brownwood, and sulfur. In not too great of quantities. That's it unless new stuff got patched in lately.

    Make resources more regional

It seems like the current setup has Meduli as an alchemical center, GK as an ore center, and Fab/Kranesh area has strong lumber resources. Even as an ore center GK seems a bit OP though. It really didn't need saburra in addition to the blast furnace, and every ore type other than Calx when...

Please keep movement speed the same

Given I have hundreds of hours into this alpha. I wonder if I'll still be getting told "We do not recognize you as a mortal player" while standing ontop of the rubble of some of your keeps.
