    I've seen it and I agree that it's an issue. But the issue does not go away by making swings slower. If you block "close" before the hit is triggered it will go through, regardless how fast the swing was. Yes, making it slower gives you more time to react, but it's more a shifting of the issue...

    Like the patch. The swing animations for 1h swords with shields are useable. Big improvement from MO1. Sadly the bug that results in instantly canceling your swing, that can be only removed by blocking and pushing is still there.

    They were not nerfed. If everything was nerfed, it was high tier armor. Metal was just more rare back then, and therefore it was less used.

    I think Henrik stated once that MO2 will have the same resources as MO1, and that some recipes from MO1 might as well work in MO2. But there will be minor tweaking of the resources.

    The only thing all that complaining archives, is that Henrik is thinking about slowing down movement. And I actually liked about MO2 that movement is faster than MO1... Especially since the map is so huge. I would prefer seeing slight desync before slowing down movement. IMHO.

    He didn't say this. At least I'm not aware that he said that. He said 1 MO2 char will have more than a MO1 char, but he never said 4x the amount of MO1. I think he has less than 4x in mind to increase player interaction, and reduce self sufficiency.

    The disassembling skill has also a drawback: it could lead to leaking of recipes. When you disassemble a weapon you looted and get back resources, of every resource slot in the crafting, you're basically able to see what it was made of.

    Regarding mages and being viable in PVE... Why note give them something like a staff? Some kind of magic weapon that scales with int, and does not required the usual melee combat skills. Of cause it shouldn't be as strong as normal melee weapons. Maybe make it a bit slower than the usual melee...
