With my last character i left haven right away and went right to hylls. If you're not mining on that insane incline to town or chopping trees... you're screwed. Nobody is making money off thyme and if they move those pigs away then all you have is a weak urial trade and a cheap Jhotun graveyard...

I always held onto the hope that the (currently closed) cave entrance in the north of town would hold something good. Even if it's just a back entrance to the Mino cave, it could start with undead. side note: Hylls and the entire north need some more pickables even if it's just firmwood berry...

Found a Brown Clam haven lol. This is the results of a max depth of about 382 (the lowest i could get), but was fishing at 300 most of the time since it didn't seem to matter. All the baits that worked (so far) - Compact Horn, Horn, Herbeus, Ventriosus, Gutta, and even Brown Clam itself... all...

IYou gotta right click when the fish really tugs instead of just letting them have line. *almost* exactly as you're describing :) You can even hold down left-click through the whole reeling process. Then also right click when it really tugs (this auto-stops your reeling). Then when the fish...

Just non-fish things you're able to put in the bait slot.

The only time i've gotten line breaks is when reeling in against the fishes 'tug'. When using a med line it seemed incredibly more forgiving with no penalty? :)

There's so much in this patch that i never even expected. And it's awesome! :)

Fair enough, but what i love most about this route is that after taking it a few times you can AFK walk most of it :) Also, i've always believed cheap horses are the single most important thing to help a town grow
