I get that but still, if skills work like they did, people will want to play hybrids a lot more with the current ease of weapon/casting switching. Having a basic heal, corrupt, magic shield will be too good not to have. every mage will have a weapon to block or at least a shield at all times...

So after messing around with the new magic system I’m more and more convinced that hybrids will be the standard new foot fighter. It is just so damn easy to now to switch between melee and magic that it’s a no brainer. parry whores will roll full on mage hybrids so as to take advantage of more...

mages have always filled a support role and I believe that’s by design. If mages could go toe to toe with foot fighters there would be no point in playing a foot fighter because melee fighting requires a lot more skill and expensive gear. Everyone would just run around as a naked mage instead...

Not sure how finished Vadda is but in it’s current state it’s a total sniper paradise with all the steep mountains very close on all sides. Also the yellow grass is way too long. The weirdest part is that there is barely any yellow grass outside of town, just inside. Dragon skeleton is cool though.

This pretty much. Basic package is game + 1 month for 40$ which is basically getting the game for 25$. Hard to go wrong. having said that, the game is in a very unfinished state. Like very very unfinished. I actually hope they wait even longer for launch cause som of the stuff is frighteningly...
