In my opinion it's not a "balance" thing but the core concept is flawed. Right now the only really efficient way to get around parrys is to bring two people, one with a spear, and one with a slashing/bashing weapon.

Seems like it. Once up on a time a "real-time combat where outcomes are decided by skill rather than levels or gear" was promised.

Hey, as many people know I did a lot of solo PVP in MO1 and in MO2. In MO1 I was frequently zerked but it was still fun. In MO2 it's just painfull. Parrying: Let's assume there is a melee 1 vs 2 situation. In MO1 you could parry one player, and hand out the counter attack to the other player...

@Konrad Just out of curiousity, which weapon would you like to use that requires more than 87str? The only weapons I can think of that require that much are poleaxes and poleswords.

The original ideas behind the logout change was to prevent logging out in dungeons, inside enemy houses, castles, etc. I don't see how longer logout timers solve this issue.

At weekends there is a decent population. But when I e.g. log in at early EU afternoon on a workday... Whole city's are deserted and I can't see a single soul.

Doesn't MO2 run in a VM? Shouldn't be that tricky to set it up... Not quite sure what you though about when you said you would never install such a software. But a VM isn't shady at all, and I'm not aware that there is any rule which forbids running MO2 in a VM.

Fat mage.. Fulminante + 2x Flamestrike and it's done. But if you mess it up and get noticed earlier you're pretty sure death. :D

That's why I always max psy on my fighter and drop dex. :D

In my opinion there are two main archer builds: 1. Veela with shortbows. 2. Heugar with longbow. Veela's are the fastest build, with still decent str for bows (2 clade gifts that reduce str requirement by 10 each). Huegar got a max of 121 str, and therefore the most damage. Not sure if...

They could as well let all monsters despawn after let's say 24h. Would also "solve" the issue without a restart. However, that's not really a solution but a bandage. Totally agree to this one.

Where is the the option more AI/content? New monsters, sators, wildlife... Would be my first priority. Right now there is not that much reason to even log in besides PVP. Edit: Or is this world improvement?

That makes thursars actually pretty interesting. So far I was always considering Thursars as the worse humans. :D Now the big question is: Is this intended or a bug?

Different topic. I replied to the statement about the thursar clade gift. I think he was talking other races fighter vs thursar fighter. And not about mage vs fighter.

So basically you calculated the 90 stamina out of the stamina reduction of that clade gift? So the Thursar has let's say 360 stamina, but get's 25% reduction, so you add this up and you say he has 450? Is that clade gift active or passive? Mortal data does not have it yet, right? It's the one...

So you're comparing alavarin mage vs human foot fighter? Got it... But then I don't see how it's different between an alvarin mage and a human mage. Basically you could as well compare foot fighter vs mage and not make it into some kind of race discussion thing.

Which clade buff gives them so much stamina? Never plaid Thursar recently.
