I can't see the ground in broad daylight anymore lol

playing on low settings, maybe if you have ultra graphics and a 4k monitor it looks fine. When it comes to software development 'it works fine on my device' doesn't really mean that its fine on everyone elses

After Haven: how to choose a city for newcomers to MO

Meduli and Fabernum are probably the best overall towns. Other towns have some specialty like Toxai for fishing

MO2 flagging and rep system take the fun out of MO

I think crafting is the most complete and engaging part of the game right now so I can see many people playing just for that. Likewise I could also see a lot of them quitting if they got killed in town Everytime they went to craft something at a bench so some troll could lul and get a few gold...

I can't see the ground in broad daylight anymore lol

Also the shadows kept flickering too which was annoying. Maybe they're trying to be realistic but in real life I can even see at night, can't even see in daylight in this game

I can't see the ground in broad daylight anymore lol

Seriously wth is wrong with the lighting in this game anymore. Idk if it's just me and playing on low settings but I literally can no longer see one foot in front of me even in broad daylight. This is right outside of Morin Khur. What is the entire town cast in shadows by a mountain or...

    Playble Ratmen race

Problem is people would just abuse it by killing and skinning you over and over for those sweet scales.

MO2 flagging and rep system take the fun out of MO

Going from 'if you don't like it play new world' to ' I'm playing new world instead'. Ironic really, or taking their own advice I suppose

MO2 flagging and rep system take the fun out of MO

it's the logical conclusion. If you're pro no consequences intown killing either A you like killing players in town or B like getting killed in town. I took the more logical choice

MO2 flagging and rep system take the fun out of MO

Just because you think it's fun to kill noobs in towns doesn't mean everyone else thinks it's fun. You can lie to yourself as much as you want but you know getting killed in town isn't actually fun. MO1 failed so repeating the same mistakes makes no sense. If you want to play a battle royale...

MO2 flagging and rep system take the fun out of MO

Well if it drives away the core players they would've left for some other reason anyways by your logic right? No point trying to appease the small number of players that only play to kill noobs in towns to luls

MO2 flagging and rep system take the fun out of MO

I mean you can always find fights outside of towns. Killing noobs in the library might be fun for some, but it just harms the game. You talk about being a hardcore pvp player but all you want to do is kill unprepared players in towns. Why not go to bandit camps or risars to kill players. Sure...

more love for the character builders !

I actually like the one character system. Makes your character choices meaningful. Without it people would just create like a fat mage for griefing, a char for crafting and a char for PvE. Now you have to live with the choices you make. Obviously some people will buy multiple accounts and...

    Mage armor suggestion.

Adding mage armor that boosts mage stats would fix 99% of the issues with mages by preventing naked fat mages being too strong for what little they risk and by boosting actually geared mages in pve. But I know they'll never change it

Two things that MMORPG creators never seem to see coming, but that happen every time.

You could buy it simply wouldn't be worth the murder count to kill a boy carrying a few gold worth of materials. You'd be harming yourself more than the bot at that point and the bot would be right back at it the next few minutes.

Anyone have an idea of when thievery will make it into the game?

Waiting to add thievery was a good call. Game needs more content and a stable population first. I know none really cares about keeping a healthy population of casual players here. But driving away every player and being left with a few thousand hardcore players never really ends well for pvp...

Spiritism Feedback - My (painful) Experience

the only use i've really found for it is taming / travel. Just portal in near a horse, tame a few, ride them back, and sell for gold. Probably the best way to sell horses atm until herding is added. If I had to list what I'd want changed I'd say Buff Ether Momentum (basically useless right now)...

    Gunpowder in MO2

Oh yeah, you know me, just spending my day trolling people on the MO2 forum by not agreeing with everything everyone says.

Two things that MMORPG creators never seem to see coming, but that happen every time.

The biggest problem won't be insane hacks it will be more subtle botting and macros. You don't see it know because none cares but once the games launch's there will be tons of woodcutting, mining bots etc. Gold farming. What not. Now I know many think it's impossible in a pvp game but it's not...

    Gunpowder in MO2

Guess debating wether magic or guns would be stronger is a waste of time. But yeah of you had to choose between an AK-47 and a six second to shoot fireball in WW3 I think you'd know what to pick
