Game Guide Videos for Mortal Online 2

Many newcomers to Mortal Online 2 will likely quit the game after some time, while a small number of them will discover their niche and go on to become established and influential members of the community. But there's a harsh reality to face: Your long-term survival in the world of Nave depends...

Ideas to reduce travel time, without destoying core mechanics of the game. (very important feedback to make the game enjoyable for players with a job)

The game needs npc civilians of all kinds going about their day and doing things on their own in town and out in the wild. Have npc hunters hunting springboks, farmers tending to crops and caring for cattle, and adventurers exploring the world and fighting hostile npcs and vice versa. I still...

    DEAR SV,

Yeah I shy away from using online password managers for that reason. Mine is completely local on an usb thumb drive that's password-protected and then stored inside an encrypted virtual storage file that will self-erase after 5 failed password attempts.

    DEAR SV,

While I won't excuse or trivialise the data breaches that occurred on the old Mortal account management website in the past, I will point out that Steam itself has been breached back in 2011 and reportedly on several more occasions since then...

    Warning to new players:

Game isn't for everyone, in the first game I got ganked as a fresh character right outside the Tindrem gate by a fully geared mounted axe-wielding pker. I stood my ground and fought him to the death, lost my full suit of laminated armour that I had just bought off the vendor. But the adrenaline...

    DEAR SV,

I think if I had to manually log in and renew my sub every month it would be unnecessarily tedious unless I specifically plan on playing one month and then giving it a break like I do with EVE Online. My sub auto-renewal is permanently turned off for that game. But considering that I plan on...

I'd say make it so that at 100 Riding (secondary skill) you gain additional 20% mount speed at walk, trot, canter and gallop. That way, most nearby regions will be around 10-15 minutes away for players with maxed Riding skill.

Game Guide Videos for Mortal Online 2

Tower shields are a new class of shield that was recently introduced into the game after a lengthy balance pass. Their size and properties in some ways make them more than just a defensive equipment. In time, they may be used by non-archetypal characters for purposes outside of traditional...

    just rage quit:)

With all due respect, giving an example of how I play the game and how certain things can be achieved is not flaunting myself. I don't know why anyone would read it in a way that suggests I was.

    just rage quit:)

Hmm no I don't think that is the case. I'm seeing more content creators for this game as of late, some are new while others have been around a while. And the game isn't dead, nor dying: Mages are one of the most feared character builds in the game, at first glance it's easy to diss on them...

    Warning to new players:

While I respect your right to express your opinion, I think most of the issues you raised are due to either features and mechanics not implemented yet as the game is still in early access. Or frustration with the omnipresent pvp and full looting which creates unpredictable social dynamics that...

How much strength do I need?

I'm a spear user, but never really tried to pick one up when my strength is below the requirement as my character started out with fairly high strength. My guess is that you will be able to equip it but not use it properly, like back in the first game if you tried to use a bow that was above...

How many PVE Palyers can the game handel at once ? With 1500 players in total all dungeons are already overcrowded.

For PvE, I think SV has recently added quite a number of points of interest that caught me by surprise, even along the routes I normally take whenever I travel. Don't want to spoil it for anyone, but recently I noticed a lot of newly added mines and caves that are inhabited. This time round...

How many PVE Palyers can the game handel at once ? With 1500 players in total all dungeons are already overcrowded.

Reminds me of one time I was dungeon crawling alone down in the Tindrem sewers, and happened to bump into a group of about 15 (most of them were guarding their 2 loot haulers at the back). A few of them got right up in my face while I was backed to a wall, but none took any aggressive actions...

Bulk order deeds from UO could make their way into MO2

I remember the BODs, though I think MO2 has taken it one step further by making them player-generated with the buy orders at the trade broker. This means I'll be doing the quest for a real player rather than an npc. Which in my opinion is more meaningful and interesting.

Game Guide Videos for Mortal Online 2

Unlike most other MMORPGs, cooking in Mortal Online 2 does not follow the conventional system of obtaining pre-made recipes and ingredients to craft food items. Instead, it simply provides many different cooking tools, ingredients and techniques, and leaves the player to their own imagination...

can some of the end game content be made solo friendly.

I think SV said a bit while ago that they are putting effort into solo or small group content. But I do also think that content should be commiserate with effort and skill. A difficult boss with high-value loot that requires a large group and good teamwork should not be solo-able. But ones that...

Fatal error! Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0xffffffffffffffff

Don't know if this will help, but worth having a look: https://steamcommunity.com/app/686810/discussions/0/3184615258413992438/ The game works flawlessly on my PC, so it's likely something on your system that is causing this error.

    Lesser Healing vs Greater Healing

Yes I'm aware of that. What I meant was getting my hands on the scroll which as far as I'm aware involves either buying it off the broker or finding it in the world somewhere. Then having to find a player to scribe it into my spellbook. It's the hoops I have to jump through just to get the spell.
