    There is more to it than that. It is meant to be one world with one history. They are so dedicated to this idea that they do not even want MO1 and MO2 active at the same time.

    Some of my best experiences in the game were with players from other parts of the world. It is one of the things that makes this game unique. If we divide the game in this way then it takes a large part of MO's soul away in my opinion.

    I do agree that they could be moving more towards this now. The combat alpha is over. And even the initial beta was supposed to end this month. So the idea of moving on to test in a closer to persistence way does have validity.

    I think mounts should be pretty vulnerable to melee attacks and have pretty low hp over all. The mounted player should not regularly be going toe to toe with melee fighters. And a group of melee should be able to take a horse down quick if it finds itself being attacked by said group at once...

    The wife really liked that game but they pretty much chased her off by continuously changing server rules and pushing her off to other servers. Just to have changes again soon after and pushed to another again. There is only so much of that kind of stuff a player is going to take.
