The new rep change is crazy

Murder should be a choice, and should have consequences, and historically this game has punished murder very little. In fact, there used to be almost no reason NOT to kill people at all, meaning anyone who didn't was falling behind. Why farm anything when you can just kill the people who do? If...

The new rep change is crazy

What's funny is you make it sound like you played no part in this and like there was no way for you to prevent being red. Obviously you have been killing people, innocent or otherwise and this is the price you must pay for it. You have the option to fight in the wilderness or war dec if you...

World Sucks (But could easily be good)

I both agree and disagree with some of your points. I think the game is supposed to make you feel vulnerable and at risk at all times so riding around the razorbacks or avoiding certain spawns should be in your interest if you feel you can't handle them. However, I agree 100% that outlaws are...

You Nerfed My Specific Crafting Niche (and a lot of other cooking recipes) - Poo on You

I made a suggestion a while ago which added "bloat" to anything edible. Essentially a modifier to how much hunger was consumed when you eat it, so lower would be more hunger efficient. Let's for simplicity's sake say all uncooked food has 10 bloat. A very simple way to make things interesting...

The Big Trade Broker Fix & Improvements Thread

Search filters for equipment, for instance min/max values of certain attributes; For example, I want to be able to search for a sword that has minimum 150 durability and at least 24 slashing damage, as well as a maximum str requirement of 77. Same function goes for armor and bows as well.

100% Henriks solution he mentioned on stream seemed to instead focus on leveling them via an npc for gold, which is a cheap and worse solution. It fixes part of the problem, sure, but it makes for less interactions and fewer people out leveling their pets.

Good catch, hadn't even noticed that.

100% agree. Having them auto attack to gain access to abilities is a so so idea on paper at best. Focus should passively regen to max regardless if your pet is fighting or not, and using its abilities should be a risk/reward situation.

I see where you're coming from and agree to a degree, but the things we have to allow for build diversity. If a pet deals 7-10 auto attack damage to steel imagine what it would do to light armored mages, and pets are already very strong mage destroyers as it is. So the auto attacks should...

Some good insights here, thank you for contributing. I disagree that aiming at your target for skills is bad. Some abilities require this, others don't. Pet buffs should not require you to aim at them since you're thematically just telling them what to do, but targeted damage abilites should...

Yeah that's in there already as a suggestion. Pets would get 100x the glory of its master, meaning 20 glory = 2000 pet exp (each level up requires 10k exp).

Thank you. I personally find them fun to use, but I find the idea of using their unique abilities efficiently A LOT of fun. As I'm mostly a pve kind of player, I really enjoy the the concept of pets and having to train and nurture them while having them do all your heavy lifting, and seeing...

I think that would only lead to a specific pet being the best stamina pet to use and everything else considered useless. Also, managing both focus and stamina for 3-4 pets does not sound fun at all. Pets chasing you down should mainly come from either what I call "torpedo" pets if you're a...

“Command and forget” The one thing we can all agree that we are trying to get away from is a playstyle that requires little to no skill to use, and telling your pets to attack someone and then forgetting about them is indeed not very skillful. I’ve already gone into detail about how to fix this...

    A comprehensive pet feedback thread

This post has taken me quite some time to write and is quite long, but I really hope to start a constructive discussion on how to identify and fix the current problems with pets as well as finding solutions that are appreciated from ALL sides, including the people who want to completely remove...
