    Because a game like mo2 probably won't work with only a few hundred people playing and the map the size it is.

    Full loot is more popular now with the proliferation of survival games and battle royales; something that wasn't really a thing 11 years ago.     The arguement could be made, with the size of the map, that the game needs a certain critical mass when it comes to concurrency in order for the game to feel alive. They pretty much said their working primarily on olish and fixes for EA. New content might be months away, but EA isn't...

    before people say steamdb is not accurate I guess the question is this game DoA? The server issues obviously hurt, but other bugs were a contributing factor. Sure it's beta, but they legit thought the game was going to launch last nov, and again in march. They've basically gave this game away...

    The game shouldn't promote or encourage offlining

    The original mo1 had this problem. Invest hundreds of hours into something, log off, come back on to a whole lot of nothing, uninstall game. I've seen this played out over and over again, and it's part of the reason why the game died. Relying on terrible guard AI is not the solution.

    Harvesting I'd like to actually physically be able to cut down a tree. I don't know how technical possible it is, and it's definitely not of the highest priority, but I think it would be a neat addition to the game.
