The game has local banking, meaning that items (including coins) need to be physically transported by players to the desired location.

It's why the game has a thriving transporter industry, all made possible because of this one game mechanic.

Completely stupid idea! This would allow money transfer between cities.

It wouldn't because the money would still exist. It would be like... 30 g put in for the buy order, 30g waiting for the deliverer when he finishes the delivery to said city. The money would be still at the original point, one would think.

While I don't think it allows anything unless I am misunderstanding, there are better ways to do this. I really want to see tasks that are delivery tasks. Even like buy or obtain COAL in x city and deliver it to Y city and boost people with clade. Not feeling the money part of tasks, but I digress.

Any kind of a trading mechanism would be nice. They always have a 3rd party hold the money, but if there was a way to put the money in a 3rd party NPC (assuming that is possible haha) it might work out better.

TLDR, I don't think this idea is that important, but the spirit of the idea, just generally expanding market stuff in many ways + expanding rewards and getting people moving from city to city is going to be a huge next step for the game. Instead of just having people looping nearby mobs.

In your description we have no money transfer but we have material transfer. Same stupid idea. Banks and brokers have to act locally and without "automatic transfer" between cities. Gold coins or materials have to stay in the city unless somebody (a player!) transports the stuff.

how is it a stupid idea, i mean you can easily just drop in trade chat Buying XXXX at Mho-ki Payment at Fab , and someone might sell that over there that wants money in fab , but they would have to trust each other to deliver , and you cant really trust anyone so cross city trade deals are probably not too common ,
it isnt exactly automatic transfers is it ? maybe im a bit clouded and not seeing right , but someone in one city delivers materials and gets payed in a different city ? how does that allow money transfer between cities ? the money has to be put in the city that it pays out at but the materials can be delivered in a different city
it just allows you to close trade deals from afar without having to trust that youll actually get paid when its done
whats wrong with someone buying steel in one city and paying for it at another
--the material being sold stays at the city it is ordered at , and the money that is paying for it stays at the city the order was placed at
