I think I have found something to fill that thievery void. Check this out everyone
I'm really enjoying it, the progression is awesome and there is a lot of solo friendly content. Still on the starter island but have seen MO2 people already here. I've seen a ton of MANA and also Immortals running around. It really feels like these devs were fans of MO2 and took all of the feedback we were giving to SV over the years and decided to just implement it themselves in their own game.Looks interesting. Seems like a promising direct competitor to MO2. First time I've seen a mmorpg where they put banned players in cages.
I watched that video too, that guy only played for like an hour I think, lol... The Video OBEREG posted is a far more truthful representation. But why play a game like MO2? This one has Thievery.. That's what got my attention..yea I saw this. The only thing that was kinda wack is I was watching someone hit a dummy and it seemed pretty 'weird.'
I'm always looking at vids tho. I think I got bad game radar. lol. I hope it can get fixed / better.
40 dollars isn't a big deal to spend, but playing games cuz they might be like MO is a bad path to take.

I'm leveling up my RPG Twitch channel and looking to spice things up with some Twitch Panels Any advice on which panels work best for RPG channels? I'm thinking of including character bios, stream schedule, social media links, and maybe even a panel for lore or game guides. Share your favorite panel ideas and any tips for making them stand out! Can't wait to hear your suggestions!
Sometimes I worry that thievery may become another relic of old MO1, along with player-written books, town message boards, town criers, civilian NPCs, invasion spawns, puking, horse poop, and so on.
With thievery being delayed for this long, well past the initial game launch and the UE5 upgrade, it's starting to make me think that it will never be released at all.

There is still the klepto clade gift for humans. So I am sure they still plan on having thievery at some point (hopefully sooner than later).Sometimes I worry that thievery may become another relic of old MO1, along with player-written books, town message boards, town criers, civilian NPCs, invasion spawns, puking, horse poop, and so on.

Yeah there's quite a lot of placeholder content that make reference to thievery which is somewhat assuring. There is still the klepto clade gift for humans. So I am sure they still plan on having thievery at some point (hopefully sooner than later).
What I personally worry about though is lockpicking. It never seems to come up.
I really hope that after Sprint 4 they will introduce thievery as one of the core features of Sprint 1 in the next roadmap.
Not seeing it in the next roadmap is going to make a lot of people think that thievery is nothing more than a pipe-dream that will never get implemented.
I don't think I can stomach MO2 without thievery in it.
Assuming they can filter out all the potentially rampant astro-turfing as well. Google Forms was the worst platform (in my opinion) for holding a feature poll that I have ever seen.If they make their choice with a similar poll as last time then thievery will most likely not make it again.
Allowing people to give weight to everything just brings the middle things to the top.
That's why we mostly got things like, new armor, new creatures, new dungeons ect...
These are the types of things that the majority of people will give at least an above neutral weight too.
A controversial addition like thievery however has strong mixed views in both directions.
With players on both sides potentially giving positive weight to the uncontentious options.
Bringing the latter options to the top.
I Think it would be better to have a poll were a player can only pick a specific amount for their top choices (for example top 5).
Then possibly even being able to give individual weight to those select choices.
Players will have to really consider what they want and weight is only given to what they choose.
The middle of the road and less wanted stuff will simply not get weight.
Giving a better picture of what people actually want.
Yeah, no doubt that was an issue as well. I hope future voting will be done in game while logged into an account. Some with multiple accounts will still get more weight. But it will at least not be wide open.Assuming they can filter out all the potentially rampant astro-turfing as well.
