"Added a new robust analytics system. This system collects gameplay information such as clade and bloodline choices, chosen clade and mastery gifts, trained skills, amassed wealth, when, where and how you die, play session time, your framerate as you move throughout the world, when and where tasks and bounties are taken and much, much more. After the system has been running for a short time, we will be using the data collected to make various balance adjustments as needed in subsequent patches."
As you can see they JUST added a system that tracks data, and they pinpointed the most basic data they told us many times they had already, Henrik said 3-4 times he had data on clade pick rates, Neb told me personally they are tracking mastery pick rates and will buff/nerf mastery (never did) after release.
And no wonder they never do balance, they LITERALLY have no data lmao.
Hopefully this changes the balance issues, which in my opinion are the biggest gameplay issues of this game, it's an mmorpg with 0 variety and illusion of choice.
Good job, a bit late, but still, if you follow up with balance patches, I'll enjoy myself even at low pop personally, and I know a lot of people who would come back if not 80% of the builds were trash, especially the coolest ones like a heavy melee fighter (a stample, most popular character in fantasy/medieval gaming)
