I was right about analytics, they didn't have any and jusr admitted in their latest post.

Henriks bluffs od having a pickrate number on his desk from which he balances, I never fell for and now in the latest "Into The Vault 160" they outright admit they only gathered feedback via extrmeely biased questionares and in game bug report which Robmo ignored half of.

Now with actual analytics... oh boy.

They will start buffing and nerfing weak and strong weapons spells masteries clades LIKE ANY NORMAL GAME DOES.

This explains everything they basically functioned off horrendeous biased community for all the balance.

Now they THEMSELVES will see Alvarin pickrate, damage per death, weapons cradted, the fact that Double Kallardian axe is probably crafted 8000 times more than crescent axe LOL.

The fact that boulder is casted 2 times per day and lesser heal 2 million times a day.

Etc.

I kind of expected that they would now spend the rest of this year and the next adding content to and fixing Sarducaa. So, I guess no new sandbox features for 2027...? And no, Sarducaa doesn't count as 'sand'.

The whole analytics thing was news to me, I thought all this while they had these systems in place for years.

Overall, I'm not particularly impressed. :(

It aint over till its over bro

But yes abaolute huge flop on Sard release

It's over in the sense that if you expect more than some variation of what we are already getting, you are griefing yourself.

It is sad that when they drop something like Sard and get 2k+ players that one can be deluded into believing change is coming, that a taste of 'success' will lead SV to make necessary changes, but in fact, it's just not like that.

They will continue to boot up makeitmountable.exe.

Analytics is unique

All their biggest issues can be explained by them not having them previously.

The game will not recover from this point forward, and there is no point in investing more time into something that has no future and the existing content is not fun. It is a holiday weekend in the US and we are peaking at 600 today. Mid week lows are in the 300s. It's quite literally over. So much of the existing content is just broken/disabled/retired-in-place/unimplemented, and by the time they get around to actually balance the game there will be 100 people left playing.

What does the future look like?

Maybe we get the PTR next week which will then go live a week later. So Sept 15th the earliest. So now what? Data has to accrue for their new telemetry to actually work, and they have historically been unable to produce monthly patches. But
say I'm wrong and they make another patch a month later, so probably Oct 20th. Ok, now they have nerfed elf and mages by another 1%. Changes won't be enough, players will rage quit if elf nerfed to what it should be nerfed too. Now we're in the fall holiday timeline, nothing else will be done for the rest of the year.

Analytics are a unique case.

The fact that they didn't have them up until now explains almost all the issues I had with the game.

It won't be 1% if they see analytics, and they won't nerf mages because they are not OP and will not be overplayed or do much damage when looking at analytics.

Simple as. Them vibes balancing htis entire time EXPLAINS them under or overbuffing/nerfing stuff. THEY DID IT ALL ON VIBES LITERALLY LMAO
IF they nerf Alvarins 1% and they dont budge inpickrate THEY WILL NERF THEM AGAIN BECAUSE ANALYTICS WILL KEEP SHOWING THEM BEING OP LMAO!?!?!

Analytics if not fully ignored, completely destroy capacity of 1 race or item or anything to be as OP as alvarins are in this game, period.
If Volibear (random champ came to mind) in league had 62% winrate 100% play/ban rate they would nerf him, and if hes still overdoing, they would nerf him again, then again because analytics would show he is overplayed and too high of a win rate, each nerf would make the ga me better, and even if they dont make him perfectly balanced, as I doubt htey will make Alvarins actual 25% pickrate and same KDA as other races, I still expect, very easily, that Alvarins will 100% get much easier and more reasonable to fight to a point where you might even like it and play other races, matter of fact you 100% will because if you dont, then analytics will keep showing 80% alvarin.

Analytics are unique precisely because them not having any is the cause of alvarins being this stupid, these people get as many msges that alvarins are op as anything else becuase no kidding 80% alvarin community will do that.
Like im sorry dude, unless game litearlly shuts down in 3 months, it will begin an upward trajectory due to positive balnace changes acting as massive amounts of new content, and betterment of gameplay and combat which is nr.1 cause of people leaving.
