I suggest that you add a vendetta system;
I believe this will lead to interesting emergent game play, and some fun fights breaking out inside cities, which will be fun for everyone else to see how the drama plays out.
- If you are murdered you should get an alternative to "Report", a "Vendetta" option. This will add the murderer to your vendetta list. A person on your vendetta list can be attacked and murdered without at anytime and anywhere, by you, but only by you alone. Anyone helping you will suffer the normal consequences.
- The murderer is of course free to defend himself without any repercussions when attacked, but guards will not intervene.
- In the event of a successful vendetta, the loot-bag will be grey only to the person who carried out the vendetta.
- Once the odds are even, the vendetta is removed, but can be removed by the player at anytime. A player should only be able to hold a certain number of vendettas.
