Next Patch and Timeline Expectations




We are on track to have a patch out for the “end of April”. It is likely that the patch will arrive very early May. We understand that frustration when we do not deliver a patch when we announce specific dates. We are going to avoid this. We do not want to intentionally create discontent in the community. We apologize for the frustrations this has caused. We feel like we can keep the schedule that we set out with our first roadmap.



Polish and Bug Fixes



We want MO2 to be a great game and offer an amazing experience. Before we move on to new platforms, such as Epic Games, we want to put much of our focus on fixing critical issues. With our team, each member has a set of tasks and skills that they excel at. To make sure that our team members are not just twiddling their thumbs, we have a pipeline of new content and tasks we set up for each. Not every member of our team can fix bugs for example. However, we have expanded the test team to be larger since our last patch. We added both testers and a new QA Lead and have already seen progress in our bug quashing pipeline. Your continued support by giving us your bug reports have accelerated this process as well. We want to thank you. Having ways to reproduce tricky bugs helps us solve the problems they cause.



Magic after Necromancy



We do not have no dates however we wanted to let you know what the next school of magic we intend to develop is either Elementism, Illusionism or Staff Magic. It will likely be decided on by community feedback. When we have more information, we will let you know.



Upkeep Tab and Closest Priest



We are aware of the issues about these features and are working on fixes. We apologize that this is affecting your gameplay. It is likely we will shut off upkeep temporarily until we can solve the issue.



Pet Polish, Beast Mastery and Equipment



We are aware of the issues surrounding some of the pet pathing in houses and out in the world. We are continuing to address this patch after patch. With housing, the infinite possibilities of the furniture systems have created small challenges when fixing this. We are hard at work with this. In the future Beast Mastery and its abilities will add more skill-based combat for both PvE and PvP regarding pets. This coupled with pet equipment, we hope to improve the pet experience in future content patches. Right now, our animators are hard at work getting ready for Necromancy which is slated for next month. Animators are a bottle neck for new beasts and pet equipment. New mounts are a higher end priority with this bottle neck.



Oghmium

We hope to have this resource in the game by the end of May.



Information Rendering Increases



We do plan on increasing rendering and information on the server side in the future. For example, giving guild name information sooner. Currently, as we are working on capacity for the nodelines, we want to make sure we are first gathering data on the CURRENT settings before we increase these ranges. If we increase the ranges now, we may have issues increasing the node caps properly. We appreciate your patience on this.
