If I remove some points in a master skill and increase a sub skill that requires the master skill as a pre-requisite at like 60, Will the minus stop pulling from the master skill if there are underlying sub skills being trained? Basically I want to make sure that I don't nuke the sub skill because I am pulling from the master skill. At one point will the minus stop pulling if there is a hard level requirement for the skill being pulled from?

There are primary skills and secondary skills. Only primary skills use skill points. Secondary skills can all be maxed out and take no points. Secondary skills dont “pull” anything from primary ones.

some skills( both primary and secondary) require parent skills. Those skills will only go as high as their parent skill.

If you decrease a parent skill, all skills that require it will also be effectively lowered to same level.

for example: Passive regeneration (secondary) requires Endurance (primary) as a parent. If you lower Endurance to 60, Passive regeneration will also be automatically lowered to 60. Active regeneration (primary) also requires Endurance as a parent, and it will also be lowered to 60 when you lower Endurance.
