Initially I created a pure Veela as I thought that pure archery was a viable tactic. My build was:

I enjoyed playing it but since I never left Haven, I guess my experience isn't really relevant to the real world. Can I get a meta build out of something like this?
Since mounted combat is essentially a must, what do you guys recommend? Could I play a human that can do mounted archery and still wear heavy armor?
Essentially, I'm brand new to the game and I'm looking for something that's meta that won't have me questioning my decisions once I'm hundreds of hours into the game. Big bonus to anything that's not ultra challenging to play.
