To learn more about the origin, mission statement and purpose of the APC: https://mortalonline2.com/forums/th...he-auxiliary-peacekeeping-citizenry-apc.8748/
Two centuries ago, the APC was formed as a decentralised, low-profile and fully autonomous citizen militia. Its mission and purpose was the protection and safeguarding of the more vulnerable members of society, whether they be man or beast.
Since the cataclysmic upheavals and apocalyptic events of the Second Conflux, the APC has not been heard of nor seen, until recently in the city of Tindrem where it was first founded. There, the first person to wear its guild tag was Leorias.
The guild follows a decidedly different recruitment philosophy and method compared to other, more conventional ones. It seeks out potential candidates who exhibit certain qualities and characteristics that the guild deems as ideal and befitting its mission statement. Naturally, this means guild membership will be by invitation only, after careful consideration and selection.
The guild will not go into long, exhaustive detail as to what the ideal candidate looks like in order to maximise the likelihood of finding ideal candidates that truly possess the innate qualities that we are looking for. However, some inferences may be drawn from fictional characters such as the Roman general Aelius Maximus Decimus Meridius in the 2000 film Gladiator:
