The fact that they nerfed Thursars before Alvarins shows SV actually does not have any internal data at all.

Alvarins are 100% most played race BY FAR in this game ESPECIALLY in small scale we are talking 8-2 ratio of Alvarin to other clades.
Large scale is mixed and minority gameplay overall, but definitely not overwhelmingly one race over others.
What SV does, and why they do polls and feedback suggestions etc. so often is because

1. none of them play the game almost at all, if Rombo or someone logs on for a day and plays at ultra low level without even pvping that does not count

2. they do not have internal data, actually, even though they lie they do, we have been promised a stat tracker that other games have where we can see pick rate of weapons, races etc. that obviously does not exist
Which leads to the next issue - super biased balance changes that favor popular classes, and playstyles, such as Alvarins and zergs.

They are essentially asking 70% alvarin 90% zerg pop "do we need to add more stuff for zergs, and what class do we need to buff or nerf"
The pop is so low and builds and playstyles are so undiverse, the bias takes over and we just get same results, let alone the fact you can just make 10 google accounts and vote in your favor EVEN THOUGH they added in game voting system, what?

I mean that's it im waiting for an Alvarin nerf. They will genuinely be 95% of small scale now, with 5% of people being noobs, confused people and some super off meta shit.

The fact that Alvarins have an ability that allows them to see through walls or any other obstacle so they know who is around them regardless of where they are just kills it for me.

Information is power, and they put it in the hands of those who play this clade. Plus they're good with magic, daggers and all things that involve agility and speed is why I find the game incredibly one-sided.

They also hit harder than the strongest Thursar in the game with their armor pen ability given how damage stacking works with rings. Now they will literally hit Thursar harder than the Thursar hit them. It's insane. Everything about the elves is just cheesy bullshit. They bypass a lot of the games baked in systems for #reasons.

Also. "Sarducca will be released before the end of 2025" Another lie for the board of lies.

What I don't understand sometimes are these dev announcements we get every now and then telling us "Oh, we listened and this is what most of the community asked for."

Like, really? We asked for caravan campsites that don't move? An astronomically long (and expensive) grind in the Mastery and Orb systems? No thievery after almost four years when some 63% of the forum said they wanted it in an unofficial poll I made a year or so back? Or the lots of fluff (new armours, pets, dungeons) that, while nice, added nothing new to the game when they could have worked on what really mattered in a sandbox mmo: The sand itself. I could go on and on.

It's wild that they nerfed Adamant. So now the only race option is Alvarin.
They have no data and are lustening to majority Alvarin players. It's straight up just that. Go say Alvarins need a nerf in Nave chat or official discord they will all jump on you because that is their main because everyone that wants to play other classes such as tanks bruisers non dex mages etc. LEFT and now genuinely Alvarins are the only small scale (majority gameplay and what all popular games of the genre balance around) option. Thursar nerf is BAD.


And btw super low IQ change too they know TTK is bad so they buff HP by 10 for everyone (again favoring Alvarins) and then they turn around and nerf akh bond brace and adamant WHAT???

But yeah nail in the coffin for me I was a long time player I dropped sub I might play till it runs out and then maybe come back on Sarducaa IF they make changes that need to be made which you can check on my last post in feedbacks suggestions.

When they came for wardecs I said nothing because I was a small guild owner

When they came for tc I said nothing because I didn’t large scale

When they came for mounted combat I said nothing because I played foot

When they came for hybridization I said nothing because I was a warrior

When they came for thievery no one was left to say anything

I agree, tho, with thread sentiment. I am an elf thru and thru, what they offer has always been what I wanted in this game. I don't want other people on this train! I remember when elves weren't faster in MO1. Still liked 'em.

Let me post my elf POVs! As I have said before, if you are not gonna give any other race (human should get a little, too imo) a % speed bonus passive, an elf can run about 95 dex and still be faster than everyone, esp with combat leap and actives.

The actives being buff-able is crazy, and longer duration, lower cool down. The fact they put armor pen on runner's high is absolutely nutso. Might as well make it so that every hit you do is a weak spot.

Alv sight could be useful, but it has no downsides. It should have a bigger downside of like letting people know you used it, rooting you, and it should not give you a 360 degree view of every living thing. It would be cool if it was just like "there are 3 people within 50 meters." :):) But hiding is such a big part of MO, and being able to circumvent that is wack. You should also be able to spec out of it, like use jedi trix and be undetectable. I would be all for removing it completely even though it is a cool idea.

As for why they nerfed thursar, nfi. But speed is king regardless, even if you can't get kills, but now that alv can get kills with trinks / armor pen, it's over.

I could rattle off so many ideas of how to fix all of these issues, and they could just pick and choose, ALAS I'm dun w/ that. The only thing that I bitched about that they changed in the last patch was the lyk bag issue. Which is a great thing, but... then they took my foraging NPC for a day. :*(***

Exactly man its literally all Alvarins now, it already was before and now it 's like bizzare, i have never seen such a high % pick ratio of a class in a game with mutliple classes before. It's bizzare. large scale people play whatever but you go to a dungeon or a POI or anywhere really that's not an outpost fight and all you see is them.
