Starvault do NOT understand how stakes build emotion in the context of guild fights; which has resulted in a boring and stagnant world.
Your guild PVP is BORING because your stakes are TOO LOW. WAAAAAAY too low.
Look at MO2's world... It literally hasn't changed in years... YEARS guys.. If guilds cannot TRULY lose, everything feels inconsequential.
When these guilds fight eachother, and one side loses... What do they really lose? NOTHING. They lose a bit of face, but they're not at risk of losing everything; and THAT is why it is boring.
YOU CAN'T EVEN LOOT THEIR DESTROYED STRUCTURES AFTER DESTROYING THEM.
WHY even destroy a structure, when you can't even take your reward?
NO incentive; NO stakes for the defending side.
They just move their stuff, nothing is lost. World never changes.
Your 'endgame' for guilds is EXTREMELY dull for people, because they quite literally CANNOT lose.
When you use cheats on a videogame, and make it so you can't lose.. How much fun do you have? THEY ARE BORED.
You MUST make it possible to lose COMPLETELY; and it MUST be easy to do so.
The way the game is currently designed shows you have NO CLUE how important this is to keep your world feeling fluid, exciting and interesting.
What you have currently is : safe, unchanging, stagnant.
Is that what you really want?
Make it EASY to destroy structures; yes, even for small guilds. Make it cheap. Make it easy. Let people lose everything.
Right now, small guilds have NO way to fightback against big guilds because they're priced out. This creates a scenario where big guilds can just dunk on smaller guilds; and nobody can punch up due to price. Make it so structures are easy to destroy, and you make a more fair ecosystem.
Please look to other survival games like Ark, which were MASSIVELY successful.
Players already have PVE towns, they do NOT need safe bases outside of town too; it is too much.
