Spectral death mobs

Once you become a ghost the spectral realm should be populated with hungry ghosts, specters, demons, shadow people that can impact your experience.

Such as hungry ghosts following you and slowing you down. Other mobs that give a temp stat loss when rezzed. Things to avoid. Priests could ward them off as well and so could shrines. Occasionally manifesting in the live realm to steal stamina and curse players. They could be warded away with spells, charms, etc. It would add depth to the landscape, the moans of demons heard but not seen around you as you travel but knowing if you die in that area, your soul is not safe.

Maybe even having positive astral wolves, lions and angelic forces that ward evil and provide temp stat boosts once rezzed.

Good idea. It reinforces the idea that nowhere in Mortal is safe.

Instead of following the current trend to have players teleport everywhere when dead/naked I think it´s more worthwhile to make ghostmode a challenge.

I mean you can always teleport to the next priest or home priest anyway. But exploration, fighting in unknown territory would be greatly enhanced by this.
