Spend hours training a pet to 125.
Pet vanishes into thin air infront of my face mid combat, it says *pet name* has been killed when pet has above half health and it is in range; it literally disappears. No, it wasn't hit by something that killed it, it was being attacked by one person with a short bow and it is a very tanky pet. It vanished with most of it's health. Then i get a message saying it has been killed.
GM says the can't restore the pet because they can't verify.
If you cannot track it, then you should either :
A) Implement a way to track it and restore it when the game is found to be bugged.
B) Go by a player's account of what happened, because it is all you have. Your paying customers by the way.
C) Make it so training them up isn't as time consuming if you're not going to restore pets due to game bugs; or have not intention of fixing these bugs.
It is not my fault your game is broken. I should not be punished for YOUR failing to be able to track your buggy game.
This is a monthly sub game, and my pet worth 100 gold vanishes into thin air, that i spent a few hours leveling to max... Do you not think having a monthly sub means a level of professionalism and integrity? This is so sloppy and to call the game "sub ready" is a common meme amongst the players here, because it isn't sub ready. Your game is broken, and you do not compensate or respect your player's time when a GM is treating you like some liar trying to cheat the system on a VIDEOGAME.. Yes, just a videogame, it isn't like i'm trying to rob a bank.. I want my pet back that YOU killed by leaving your game and GM system at such a sloppy and unprofessional level.
It is a GAME, your game IS buggy.. Why are you not just trusting people by default when they're clearly annoyed, you can see they had a pet.. It is insane.. You know your game has problems like this, why are you treating people like liars over what is a videogame? Do you not think that would alienate and spit in the face of your paying customers.. Do you even think?
If i did it 100 times in a row, then maybe there is something going on.. But seriously? This is disgusting behavior. Where is the benefit of the doubt for your players when you KNOW your game has bugs like this. It is ridiculous.
