I know the 'real' PvE magic schools and etc aren't in game yet, and that 'magic is just a support class' argument, etc. But since you can't be both a mage and a fighter at the same time I think that magic damage should be increased in PvE. At 100 magic skills, yes 100 all, 110 int, all in magic character - it takes two fulminates to kill a zombie (outside of Haven), about four to kill a wolf, and something like 8 to kill a bear. Your only option at all is to ride around to charge a spell, then turn back and attack, repeat for like 6 minutes. And these are not like 'hard' creatures. This wouldn't be that bad if I were say a level 40 mage. But really if it's this bad at 100 max skill how bad is it going to be when everyone is at 40? Being 100 in all magic skills should make you feel powerful, it should be a reward for all your effort spent, but even as a grandmaster wizard you still can hardly kill a wolf, it's really silly in my opinion. On top of that you're sacrificing your HP, and carry weight for magic. The usual arguments are 'well find someone who isn't a mage to play with'. Anyways, I think that for all the skill points and sacrifices a mage character has to make they should at least do more damage in PvE at 100 MAX skills. Like I said it's not that bad at 100, but at 40 and such... I mean 100 max skills won't be easy to obtain. I'm sure the usual bunch who are against any changes will disagree, but hopefully, developers take note. Thanks, right now magics main use is healing and griefing players with culminate (which should also be addressed as it's a risk-free, insanely cheap way to grief players, but that's for another thread)
