Exchange Paws, Claws, Tails, etc. For Pet Levels

I think we can all agree that the current pet leveling system is...boring.

It is a very un-engaging process simply sitting, and waiting for your pet to increase its combat effectiveness. Hours and hours until its eventually fit.

What if instead, we were able to exchange those paws, claws, tails, etc. that we acquire from killing mobs, to a specific vendor that only accepts them, for some food you can feed your pet to gain it a certain set amount of experience?

Something like this would make leveling pets a much more engaging and rewarding affair vs just sitting afk in the bank and coming back to your screen every 30 minutes to right click a stack of food.

Any variations or similar suggestions like this would be appreciated.

I actually used mine in combat to level it up. Though what I found by sending it to take out the knocked out zombie you don't get all the cadexp, we should get xp for our pets damage too. It's jsut an extention of our chars like mages spells and fighters swords.
