The mechanic on this still confuses me. I've been speaking to guildies who have told me that they can smoke without a pipe or with a pipe and ichor. I haven't tested this myself, but some are saying that using the skill consumes the pipe and/or ichor or neither. What gives?

How come I can only use the Oghmir pipe once before it gets destroyed? It would make more sense if it was a permanent item or if it had an amount of durability set to it. I'm also having a hard time interpreting the Inhale buff itself. I can't seem to see what the exact effect of the buff is...

Sorry to hear about your friend's bad experience, but the ease of exploiting a feature like that is a good enough reason to keep the game the way it is. What happened to your buddy sounds rare.
