The Bad

- Enemy NPC leashes are too short, too easy to reset enemies accidentally.. Feels extremely cramped.
- Random resetting of some enemies (Danaburnus have a tendency to just suddenly reset for no reason).
- Enemies just generally seem tanky compared to Myrland, which compounds the short leash resetting issue, as you have to deal with the enemy for longer; and also, health regen abilities are annoying when they're on so many enemy types.
- Too many insect enemies.. Honestly, i feel you should've thrown some dinosaurs in or something, like the stone lizards. Bugs are a bit of boring after we had invasions. )
- Unfiinished/half-baked dungeons/caves that are only half filled with enemies, or have no boss.
- Cricket ambient sound has no depth, so it sounds like you have a cricket glued to your ear that never moves no matter where you go; and can become quite annoying.
- Dungeon areas that treat arrows as if they're underwater, when on land (usually in dungeons/caves that go below sea level); such as the north eastern dungeon at the top corner of the map (the one behind the waterfall).
- Tudor houses don't suit the arabian/desert aesthetic of Sarducca
- Queue times on a paid subscription game is probably going to be highly off-putting for people without compensation.
- The game appears to be locked at the same playercount, despite having two servers. Selecting a character before the queue would make sense, so if Sarducca is full, people can play in Myrland.
- Sarducca is of a higher visual quality than Myrland, and so makes Myrland feel cheap by comparison.
- The water looks almost chemical blue, not a natural blue. Kind of looks like water filled with blue food colouring.
- Armor vendors selling tindremic attire in the Sarducca capital doesn't really fit or make sense; especially when basically all beginners are running around in it.
- Seemingly no obvious beginner dungeons (like tindrem/fab sewers).
- Foraging tasks are extremely time consuming, and not worth the reward when you have instances where there are only two ganum plants on the entire map; so more plants would be nice (not too many more, you still want PVP encounters).
- Floating treasure chests.
- Beth Jedda seems like a beginner friendly town, but is extremely anti-beginner given that open spaces with nowhere to hide are extremely zerg friendly.

The Good

- The map is of a higher quality than Myrland, the land is constructed in a more realistic fashion; looks more polished.
- The barren aesthetic of the land has thematic resonance with the harshness of the mortal gameplay, and so feels right. The contrast between the harsh landscape, and the paradise, lagoon-like towns creates a stronger feeling of security or homeliness than Myrland towns.
- The towns are of both a higher quality, attention to detail, and superior aesthetic than Myrland.
- The music is excellent, and sets the vibe better than Myrland.
- Some of the new enemy types are good; like the scorpions, stone lizards, crocodiles (although it would be nice if they could chase in water), Ratzar Queens.
- New armors/weapons look good and fit the area
- Aside from the bugs, and being unfinished (like some spider caves) some of the dungeons i have seen look visually impressive.
- Having a fresh start exposes some of the balance issues of Myrland that made the game much less fun (like direwolves clearly being too strong, snap shot being too strong, combat healing being too strong, etc..)

Recommendations:

- Fix dungeon bugs, finish dungeons
- Fix cricket ambience
- Change homes from tudor houses
- Queue should be after character/server selection
- Update quality of Myrland towns and landscape to the level of polish shown in Sarducca (Particularly tindrem, fab, morin khur)
- Extend enemy leashes in the open world, fix resetting bug
- Snap shot needs to be nerfed more as the damage per second is extremely high.
- Combat healing is still a massive problem, and causes mobility to be significantly more advantageous due to 'resetting' (running away, healing, coming back over and over until they win; essentially immortal). This, in turn, makes MAs extremely powerful; and is the root reason people complain about alvarins being too strong.
- Add a beginner dungeon to a main town (like a sewer)
-change armor aesthetic of armor's sold at vendors for beginners
- Add more foraging task plants (particularly Ganum)
- More enemy types that are not insects.
- The lack of dire wolves in Sarducca makes the game feel substantially better; exposing that dire wolves should probably be nerfed, especially as mounts. Something that is half the size of the horse shouldn't have the same health as a horse.
- A temperature system would be interesting, and would add depth to traversing the land.

Leashes are not too short they need to be shorter if anything. I am literally shooting bugs to death from 15 meters. Idk which mobs yoi are refering to. The leash needs to stay and again if anything it needs to be shortened. Dude just wants freest farm ever.

No, you're just annoyed i've corrected you on every post (easily, because you're not very smart, and do not think very deeply), and now you want to disagree with this one because you dislike me for showing you to be an idiot several times.

Stop being petty and telling lies; the leashes are obviously too short. On a mounted you literally have to ride in a tight loop constantly to avoid them resetting, it feels terrible and cramped.

Short leashes are good for dungeons, not for open world.

On a game that has a focus on immersion; leashes and mobs resetting is a very fast way to pull people out of the world.

The real threat in the world should be the players, not the PVE.. Not saying it can't be tough, but don't sacrifice immersion because some loser is going to cry that someone farmed too easily, whatever that means. This isn't WoW. Why are mobs resetting you idiots?

Fairness? Okay, but it is PVE.. You think a mounted archer is going to struggle if the leash is too short? No, they just move in circles; so you're creating meaningless discomfort for no gain. Anyone with a brain would easily be able to figure that out, but of course, i must spoonfeed you everytime.

When you make people feel cramped, you suddenly remember you're playing a videogame, and then immersion is gone; for what? Nothing. They'd have still killed the mob just as easily.

It is idiotic (like you), and goes counter to the rest of the game's design.

It has nothing to do with you, you never corrected me, you are just delusional, I read the post and instantly thought "man people want LONGER LEASHES?" bandits literally follow yo ufor 200 meters, the bugs you can kite around with arhcery easily. Everyone struggles, You just want easymode second monitor brainedad MA farming with 0 effort.

Akreps literally reset instantly within like, 10 metres. To be more specific. The bandits? Fine, i imagine if you're on foot, the leash is fine.

The danaburnu's reset too easily also.

Basically, it is just a call to relook at the leashes. Some of them are just carried over from Myrland, and most of those are fine.

That's fine, not everything should be braindead easy on MA. The class is already easily the most popular one. They should reset quickly.

Tight leashes on the more hardcore bugs is cool, it requires a lot of skill to kite them in certain spots cuz the way they stop to spit.

Otherwise you can MA freefarm them even more. I've found two people hitting the same bug makes it reset more. Do not grief people by attacking their bugs :/ :/ I know you guys wanna help but STOP.

It's not about what is easy, it is about what is realistic for the world of nave FIRST, then thinking about what is fair WITHIN that parameter.

Why would an akrep just suddenly turn around and instantly regenerate a few meters from where you attacked it? Is that how animals or creatures behave in a real world? No.

Do you not see that, for an RPG with a focus on immersion, that is sloppy design? This isn't WoW. This is a game that tries to wear the mask of a proper world. That's one of the reasons why it is in first person only.

"But the game needs to be fair!!"; it's a sandbox, not an arcade game. It should be cohesive to the world FIRST. It should be fair WHILST being cohesive. WHILST maintaining suspension of disbelief.

IF you want the game to be better that is. You are just too tolerant of sloppy design because you're used to it in other games.

Really, they need more intelligent AI, (which they were planning to add},so they can get rid of this garbage leashing mechanic.

Have you seen a man take a fully charged 9kg maul blow to the head and live? No. @

Mauls should do 500 damage per hit through armor. Fireballs too, arrows to the head should one shot, people should get crippled at 50% hp etc.

You want realism for what suits and helps you, you wouldnt want anything beyond that, likr a 40kg character with 10 strength literally dying or being incapacitated from a punch.

COHESIVE TO THE WORLD

DO YOU READ?

Suspension of disbelief is a conscious choice to temporarily set aside critical thinking and logic to fully engage with a fictional story. By accepting unreal or impossible premises, audiences allow themselves to emotionally connect with narratives, characters, and "poetic faith" rather than focusing on the practical flaws of the illusion.#

You know, like magic happening in the world? A giant ocean waterfall that goes off into the sunset?

Did i say perfect realism? NO.

You want your plays to MAINTAIN their suspension of disbelief. Creatures, INSTANTLY resetting, and going back to full health, MASSIVELY breaks suspension of disbelief.

A giant green orc, in plate armor, taking a hammer to the head? YES, i can suspend my disbelief for that. WHY???

People have been impaled through the head before, in real life, and survived, people have been hit with heavy objects in the head, and survived.

SO YES. You can survive that, because there are angles to which something may connect to a person's head.

So, on both accounts, you are wrong, again.

You can STILL have challenging PVE, WITHOUT tight leashing.

You can't survive a full force 9kg maul hit to the head, it's an impossibility, it would completely shatter your brain 100000 out of 100000 times. That's like saying you can survive a bazooka shot to the head.
We are talking perfect full charge hit by a Thursar to the head, should do 500 damage through armor, and should 1 shot most pets if it hits the head, not Campadons and Shore Prowlers, everything else including bears pretty much instantly dies.
Getting impaled is orders of magnitude less lethal than a 9kg hammer blow to the ehad, because the second one is complete destruction, it's not a cartoon, your head would LITERALLY explode completely even through modern military armor. You don't know anatomy and physics, go watch videos on people replicating medieval weapons, and find a warhammer blow to the head, it shatters it completely, impale can be survived because it only damages a narrow part and if it's not vital, you can live VERY RARELY THO, 9kg hammer blow? Completely shatters your whole skull and even rips your upper body apart.

People used 2kg warhammers and were much weaker than in game Thursars, a 1.5kg-2kg warhammer literally shatters a skull completely makes it look like mincemeat, when swung by a normal sized person, let alone a 9kg hammer swung by a 225cm tall roided out freak half breed.

And you are just nitpicking LITERALLY, oh we don't want scorpions to reset, but we want tiny people to survive getting hit in the he ad by something that would isntakill bears. You are cherry picking realism for your own class benefit.

Mobs should leash quickly, MA is already all you see, I wanna have SOME benefit meleeing mobs down over you at least, and bro, mobs don't even reset that far away most of them. So no, your point is horrible from game design perspective too, you are LITERALLY just full on biased about your own preferences and don't accept any negatives.

Are you stupid?

Did you even read what i typed?

There is such thing as a glancing blow? Hello? Your brain?? Use it.

12,000 Pounds (6 Tons) – The Mining/Tunneling Collapse Survival: In documented deep-mining and structural cave-in accidents, workers have survived being pinned by rock slabs weighing up to 6 US tons. In these cases, the worker's head is forced against the ground by a massive rock. Survival is strictly dependent on the "dome effect" of the human skull combined with uneven ground, or a hard hat creating a small pocket of space that stops the weight from completely flattening the skull.

1,000+ Pounds – The Industrial Machinery / Hydraulic Press Incidents: There are several modern occupational health case files detailing workers who survived having heavy warehouse steel coils, forklift attachments, or hydraulic machinery (weighing between 1,000 and 2,500 pounds) drop directly onto them.

YES, someone can survive a hammer to the head.

You just make stuff up, and then it takes a simple google search to find out it is all a fantasy. You just pull anything out of the air to try and win arguments. It is seriously obnoxious.

Someone quite literally had an iron rod nearly half as thick as their skull impale their head, and survived. It literally went through their brain.

Finally... Suspension of disbelief. Do i believe someone could survive a hammer to the head and survive? Yes, a glancing blow, if they wear a helmet. YES, i can very easily believe it.

If you hit someone with a hammer, and they survive, well, you imagine it was a glancing blow. So suspension of disbelief is maintained. Also, you can kill people in one hit with a hammer to the head on mortal; and also, not all races are human. I mean, my god, the humans may not even be real humans, because one of them has completely blue sclera.

The only thing that massively breaks the suspension of disbelief, is when you have someone walking around with 20 arrows in their head. I mean, i'd believe it if they had a helmet on, where i could just imagine the arrow bounced off, and the devs are too cheap to design that.

Also, people healing; calmly casting a magic spell whilst they're being hit with a sword, also looks completely stupid. But again, i have problems with these things, and think they should be changed.

Like, what are you arguing over? That the game is unrealistic?

It just has to be COHESIVE TO THE WORLD.

We're in a world of giant green/yellow orcs, dwarves, elves, humans that aren't real humans. They are not the same as our human races. Are they inspired by them? Yes, but they're not the same.

Can i believe some fake race in a fake world, that, within that world, can survive a heavier DIRECT strike to the head (in the instance you try to deny glancing blows)? Yes, i can believe it. It doesn't break my belief. There were other things you could've pointed to that made more sense. Again, someone with 20 arrows in their head. But you can chalk that up to SV being too cheap to have arrows bounce off a helmet.

No they literally can't, you can get AI to say whatever lol.

6 ton stone collapses on someones ehad and he survives? Yeah right.

Your belief is completely wrong.

If a 9kg hammer connects to your skull at full force you die in every single scenario.

20 arrows to the head is literally more survivable than a maul hit to the head LOL

Bugs running to their herd after getting shot a few times is more realistic than a 50kg surviving a full force direct head hit by a 9kg hammer wielded by someone who can wield it easily.

Nuance. Someone surviving a 3 mile fall by landing on trees or in water doesnz mean that 500 meter fall to cement with your head is EVER survivable.

you keep showing your low IQ again and again.

Notice, you ignore "glancing blow".

A glancing blow is why suspension of disbelief is maintained; doesn't matter how you want to spin it.

You denying what is factually recorded doesn't change reality.

In the game, can you survive a fall??

NO, so now if we're bringing falls into it, the game already demonstrates that.

Also, 20 arrows in the head? You'd have no skull left after 20 arrows; unless we pretend they were skin deep.

GLANCING BLOW. READ. GLANCING BLOW.

A) Hammers can kill people in one hit to the head in game.

B) Glancing blows explain why they may survive; therefore, suspension of disbelief is maintained, as is the cohesion of the world.

C) The races in Myrland are not humans from our world; therefore, what a real human can survive, is not the same as what some fantasy race can survive.

Also, to say i have low IQ, when i've been tested, and it is extremely high is hilarious.

Another argument lost for you.

It isnt maintained at all, glancing blow would have to be to the lower jaw and never touch the skull or it explodes. and they would 100% be incapacitated so at least mercy mode even in oghmium.

You are arguing an absurd point obviously if it doesnt even hit your skull or vital point you wont instantly die but you will crumple if it does hit your skull which is most of the hits you would instadie.

20 arrows to the head through armor survivdd is way more realistic than survicing a 9kg hammer blow but both are absurd.

And this is just the first unrealistic thing that came to mind I can think of a hundred more like being able to carry 100 elephant tusks coz they weigh like 6kg for 6 tusks, surviving fireball surviving elephant or other giant creature trmaple or bites or taking absurdly low damage from them. Eating so much food like 1000 of something in 15 seconds... Hey man name the trait of your bug leash thinh zhat makes it any different than any of those they all break immersion coz its a game bro its better for balance and experience to not have scorpions follow you to the end of the world hell they should improve on AI and make it way more cowardl, as soon as it sees it has no way of defending itself or winning. Like if I fight a pack of wolves and 1 shot 3 in a row with no wounfs the forth one should run away, same with bandits etc but that could ruin Gameplay. A bug running to its base coz you keep running is way more realistic than it following you in the open for 250 meters getting shot in the dome.

You are tripping also post your IQ test liar noone believes you got high IQ lmao
