PLEASE DO NOT LET PLAYERS CONTROL THEIR OWN CAMPSITES THEY WILL USE IT TO GRIEF.

This caravan system could be so much more and so much more beneficial to the smaller groups/ solo player base.

My suggestion IS as follows.

Alternating Nation guard protected dungeons ( just on the perimeter of the dungeon)

Nation that dungeon is in sets up "research" camps at entrances to dungeons similar to the idea that's already in the process of development , HOWEVER not in the control of players. ( make sure there are stables )

Guards are strong but not overpowered and can be killed for mid tier loot similar to the NPCs spawning in the dungeon. guards should be like Sidoan warrior type strength.

Caravans / Campsites alternate every few days or every server restart. ( every restart would probably be easier to implement that way stuff doesn't change mid day and look janky)

Tasks could be provided at the dungeon caravan site that are different then town tasks with special incentives to finish tasks in the dungeon for the improvement of the nation that is guarding it.

for example: some NPCs could rarely drop research documents or artifacts that get traded into the caravan for Nation standing and XP/ Mystery bag ( pulled from mid to high tier mob table) providing the possibility of something good from completion of the task rather then just 50 gold.

NPC guards attack dungeon NPCs in the area and protect the people , this would make the world feel more lively.

When I read "caravans" on the announcement page, my first thought was, "Are they really finally implementing player-run caravans??" To my disappointment, unfortunately.

Not sure why they would even call it a caravan, when it can't even move. It sounds more like a staging area with merchants, and should maybe be called an outpost instead.
