(Sorry for possible english flaws)

"Trouble in Toxai Town"
by Otto

Look for an area in Toxai (or any other city), where you have some houses and opportunities to hide (swimming isn't allowed, so best would be without water) - don't make the area too large. All players are naked, except a 0% rugged garment torso (why the torso will be explained below) - (two or three players will have the same material for the torso. Depending on how many take part in the game). Every player gets incisium weapons of their choice and a crepite short bow. Mages are allowed to use all spells they have. Everyone is allowed to have as many bandages/arrows/MageRegs/OghmirPipes as they like. Potions are not allowed. Before the game, every player shall suicide until they all have a greybar that gives them ~80hp (doesn't have to be that exact number, but roundabout). They will have stamina greybar as well, but that's okay. Every player should have a banner in his inventory!

You will need one Gamemaster, who oversees the game. He will be the one who gives the players their roles and tells everyone when the game starts and stops. Obviously, he can't participate in the game itself. Let him roam around the area with a horse and let him oversee everything.

The Gamemaster should make a list, where every player is included. Markdown behind every player's name, what kind of rugged garment torso he is wearing. And gather the points a player achieved behind their names. He also needs to use this Website: to randomize the roles the players will get at the start of each round.

The Gamemaster will decide on a starting point, where all players gather. Then he tells when the game starts (we played around a toxai priest). When it starts all players have 30 seconds to spread in the area. During this time he will write the players their roles in discord private message. Everyone, who won't get a message is automatically innocent (makes it easier for the GM).

The Roles:

In the randomizer list, the first players in the list become "traitor", from top to bottom. The last player on the list becomes the "detective".

Round about 25% of the players become "Traitor": The Gamemaster will tell each traitor in a private message that he's become a traitor and who his traitor colleagues are. So they will know who they are working with (Simply write every traitor: (Traitor with X and X ... ). The traitors need to kill all the innocents and the detective, to win the game. In the best case, they try to stay somehow incognito - to wiggle off any suspect.

(For 10 players we had 3 traitors. For 7 players we had 2 traitors. You can do as you like. Just trial and error)

Everyone who won't get a message from the GM, will be "Innocent": They'll win when the game time is over and they survived or if all traitors are dead.

One player will become "Detective": This player has to equip the banner in his inventory, so everyone knows that he is the detective. He has to survive like the innocents or kill all the traitors to win the game. Now the rugged garments and their different materials become relevant. Two or three players will always get the same material/color. If you have uneven numbers it's okay to split them unevenly. The detective is able to go to a lootbag (corpse) of a killed player and ask the gamemaster, which type of rugged garment the murderer is wearing. The gamemaster then has to ask the victim, who did the last hit on him. The victim has to private message the gamemaster (he can look into his combat log, who killed him). Then the gamemaster will find out in his list of names, what kind of rugged garment the murderer is wearing and tell the detective in a private message. The detective then can do with this information whatever he wants.

While the game is running, the players are only allowed to talk in the ingame voice chat. The only active clade buffs that are allowed, are: (Veela) 3% speed buff, (Thursar) Lifesteal, (Oghmir) Oghmir Pipe, (Human) Clear Mind.

The Gamemaster has to start a timer when the roles are given and then the actual game starts. He will also tell everyone in your discord (or whatever), who the detective is. With 8+ players we did 15 minutes. With 8- players we did 10 minutes. But you can do as you like.

For the rugged garments, you'll need some clear differences when it comes to the materials being used. We used: Oghmir skin, Thursar skin, Cotton, Ground Fur, Scales.

How to give points after a game:

(Ofc you'll need to play with people, who you can trust. If it isn't obvious, everyone will have to check their combat logs after the game, to tell who they got killed by)

Traitor Player: Will get a point, when he last hits an innocent player or the detective. Will get a point, when the Traitors win the game. Will lose a point, when he last hits a traitor player.

Innocent Player: Will get a point, when he last hits a traitor player. Will get a point, when the innocents win the game. Will lose a point, when he last hits an innocent player or the detective.

Detective Player: Will get a point, when he last hits a traitor player. Will get a point, when the innocents win the game. Will lose a point, when he last hits an innocent player.

(Ofc you can also say that people, who die in the round, won't get any points for the win. That's up to you)

Traitors win: All Innocents and the Detective are dead.

Innocents and Detective win: All Traitors are dead or the time is up.

One last note! If a player dies no one will get the info if he was innocent or traitor.

We will play it more often now since it was a lot of fun. If you try it as well or have some ideas to change stuff, let us know!
In the moment we are thinking about including tasks, to help spread the crowd a little more. Every Innocent would get one task, like:
chop 100 wood
chop 200 stone
gather 50 flowers
or something like that and bring the results to the
gamemaster. For that, he would receive a point. We'll try it next time.

I have plan to take tiktok about games and promote my twitch. Building a TikTok account from the ground up is not. Building a thriving gaming tiktok channel takes a ton of dedication and work. From creating content to regularly engaging with any followers that comment or like on your videos.
