I know there's many who play this game that love other hardcore games, as i do. Well, let me tell ya about a game that i completely overlooked years ago.

The short:
2d, sidescrolling/platforming. Pick from 1 of 5(?) classes (two unlocked). Very small skill trees for each, or use those lvl ups to max stats.
roguelike (ish), random, identify scrolls rule all... one of those games you have to put down sometimes because of frustration

This fucker will test everything you have. It came out two years ago so there's some info online, but i suggest to not look at anything besides a gameplay video real quick (just to see if it's for you). There's too many interesting mechanics and unrelenting brutality to spoil.
You will die constantly to aggravating deaths and almost nothing is saved. Besides some xp towards minor starting rewards (the best of which you get quickly).
