I saw someone waving at me in the game earlier. So it is possible (except when in friends list) to interact with players. But I can't find anything in the settings. Can someone tell me how this works?

Thank you. But it would be inconvenient to always do it manually. Is there a way to set the emotes to a button?

I read that they will soon add ingame macros like in MO1(to be dragged to hotbar). This will allow you to save the emote commands and with some dialogue to go with them.
