(Full disclosure I'm a noob and some of these might already be in the game and I might not have realised)

1. Job Squads.
Allow guild leaders to create various job squads within their guild.
This would work to organise the various roles guild members play within their guild.
For instance a guild leader could create a combat squad for their army so to speak.
A hunting squad for PVE hunters.
Or a production squad for crafters.
And so much more.
There would also be a squad chat system for squad members to easily communicate and help one another.

The leader would then also elect a squad leader in charge of leading said squad.

Guild members could request to be transferred to another squad or choose to not be a part of a squad at all. However the guild leaders get final say... This would make the dynamic between guilds that provide alot of freedom compared to stricter guilds alot more interesting.

2. Quotas.
Expanding on the squad system the Quota system gives each squad a specific set of tasks and quotas to reach within a set time period.
For instance the murder squad could have a total murder count quota, the butcher squad could have a quota on various materials, or the production squad could have a quota on certain items.

The leader could also choose between making certain or all quotas optional or mandatory.

The squod leader could also divide the main squad quota among squad members and set personal quotas as well.

3. Member Ranking.
The member Ranking system would bring all the previous suggestions together as a way to reward members for reaching or even surpassing their quota. Squad members will then be ranked on how often they complete their quotas and the difficulty of their quota.
Squads will also be ranked on which squads complete their quotas most often as well.
