They will still be visible, most people are playing with high gama so shadows do nothing anyways. Like never seen a player actually use shadows outside of dungeons which use a different uneffect system which its actually darker if you turn shadows off.

Smooth always looks better then higher end graphics with low framerates. Foliage only really removes grass. Bushes are still there to hide it. Games performance is poor and looks like UE5 isnt going to fix that.
